Bill Clarke-influenced tones.

Estroso, preciso strumentista e cantante confidente, dai toni appena rauchi,

DAVE MORETTI BLUES revue
On stage since 2007, the Dave Moretti Blues Revue is nowadays considered one of the most interesting blues combo in the Italian blues scene.
The band honed its own sound on the road night after night, releasing the debut album ‘Bluesjob’ in 2010, warmly received by public and critics. In June 2010 the Dave Moretti Blues Revue received the “Lorenzo Vecchiato Award” as the best debuting blues band in Italy and won the readers’ poll of the prestigious American magazine Blues Revue. One year later, the band caught the eye of the German label Stormy-Monday-Records, that decided to reissue the debut cd with Inakustik European distribution.
In 2014 the Dave Moretti Blues Revue finally released the new album ‘That’s Swing!’, that represents a turning point for the band: a vintage – but contemporary – sound, mixing West Coast blues with swing, jump, R’n’B and soul. A few months after ‘That’s Swing!’ release, the band won the Italian Blues Challenge and they will represent the Italian blues scene at the European Blues Challenge final on March 2015 in Brussels.
All band recordings have been reviewed by the most popular blues magazines (Blues Revue, Il Blues, Soul Bag, Blues Matters, etc.) and received extensive airplay all over Europe. Moreover, the band played in important blues clubs and festivals in Italy, France, Switzerland and Germany, sharing the stage with some blues stars such as Sonny Rhodes, Andy Just, North Mississippi Allstars, Kenny Neal, Eric Sardinas, Big Pete Pearson, Watermelon Slim & the Workers, Maurizio Pugno, Delores Scott, Kellie Rucker and Nico ‘Wayne’ Toussaint.
